I am a new fan of Michele Grant and wanted to see what else she had written. I was introduced to her by reading " Any Man I Want." I really enjoyed that book and wanted to read some of her other works. I decided to start at the beginning with " Heard It All Before."I really enjoyed this book. It was appropriate for some one in their 30s. I could also tell that it was written by someone that understood their craft as a writer. I often time read books from authors who obviously never took a English Comp class or knew of a professional in that field.
Overall, the plot was interesting and the characters were believable. I also like how some of the characters experienced the reality of their actions. I love romance and love stories but I like real life consequences and experiences also. This book gives you that and a bit of humor. I will definitely be reading more of this trilogy in the future.

Good
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are loveable and Grant's writing style is easy to follow. I also like the different character perspectives in the story.
I'm in the process of reading this book now and all I can say is I wan to meet a man like one of these Montgomery men )
The book was okay. The story line was okay. It is an extremely slow book though. Truly the author could have gotten to the point in have the time. She probably needs a lot more writing experience and some honest friends.
My first book by this author, and I loved it! I was very impressed by the author's ability to tell the stories of two couples, from each person's perspective. Loved the characters and the dialogue. I'm definitely moving on to Book 2 in the series!
I took me a while to read this one. I was enjoying Rome & Jewel's story. But Renee was getting on my last nerve. So I wasn't feeling Greggy either. But about halfway through it started picking up. I was all in then.
This was an interesting group of folks. Just can't stand Renee. Beau wasn't doing nothing for me either. But since he's the next story, guess he's gonna finally grow up despite being the oldest of the Montgomery kids. Smh.
This is the first novel by Michele Grant, and boy is it a romance novel with an air of delightful and racy action!!! It is just enough sexual prowess to make you blush, but not enough to make you cringe.. I was hooked from the first few pages!!!!The story touches on relationships between friends and lovers, greed, poor choices and redemption. A story about a Bougie Dallas North side sister and a handsome Dallas South side brother, and his philandering and free-lifestyle pretty boy brother. Each character is trying to make their way, and make a difference. Lots of friends and relationships are explored throughout, and great storytelling.. Renee and Gregory another story.. She is a skanky wanna-be rich girl,but is instead- a witch. He is a rich guy, wanna-be gangster-sexy is too easy!! Lot's a fun and drama you will enjoy.....
